Daniel Barnes, PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Daniel Barnes graduated with his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Daniel was drawn to physiotherapy after caring for his mother when she had a terminal illness. During that time he witnessed the impact a physiotherapist had to improve one's quality of life. They helped improve his mother's mobility; which helped her maintain independence, be able to socialize and to have a greater peace of mind. In order to help others the way that physiotherapist helped his family, Daniel pursued a path in physiotherapy.
Daniel believes in providing personalized care to those working towards regaining mobility and independence. Working one on one with clients allows him to build a therapeutic relationship that ensures his patient's needs and goals are being met. Daniel enjoys working with a broad spectrum of conditions and injuries and is able to modify and progress treatments that are catered to individuals during their recovery process.
In his free time Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors; whether it be camping, fishing or hiking. He also enjoys the process of improving at a skill. He is currently trying to improve his singing (which is currently very poor), run more consistently and learn Japanese.
Daniel's favourite food is cheesecake.
