Kimberly Dice, PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Originally from Saskatoon, Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. While in school, she gained experience as an athletic student trainer for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, providing rehabilitative support to the university’s sports teams.

Kimberly went on to study Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2020. Beyond her time in the clinic, her clinical experience includes work in acute care at the University of Alberta hospital, where she provides intensive care and burn rehabilitation, working with critically ill and injured patients.

Early in her career, Kimberly developed a passion for pelvic health physiotherapy and began pursuing additional training in this area. She has completed further training in helping her clients recover from pelvic health issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Kimberly takes a holistic approach to assist her patients in navigating and improving function while experiencing changes related (but not limited to) to pregnancy, aging, and menopause. Additional certifications include rehabilitation before and following caesarean deliveries.

Kimberly’s treatment style emphasizes a combination of manual therapy and an exercise-based approach. She works closely with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals, with a focus on long-term success and self-management. Her expertise in manual therapy and pelvic health physiotherapy allows her to effectively treat a wide range of conditions related to athletics, aging, and day-to-day activities. Additionally, she has earned certifications in functional dry needling, further expanding her skills in manual therapy and available treatment techniques.

Although specialized in pelvic health training, Kimberly enjoys working with patients from all walks of life and is passionate about helping patients of all ages and backgrounds improve their physical health and quality of life. She continuously strives to improve her knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development, attending conferences and workshops, and staying up to date with the latest research in physiotherapy. Beyond her work, Kimberly enjoys staying active through spin, basketball, and snowboarding. She is also an avid traveler and enjoys experimenting with new recipes in her free time.
